Great camera shop in the Northern Quarter with a good range of photography equipment.
The attendant was genuine upfront and advised to buy a new lens rather than repairing one.
Not too bad at all if you want a physical store rather than buying online.
Popped in to the shop today and was greeted by very friendly and knowledgable staff. As a total novice to film photography I had no knowledge on anything camera related and had a lot of questions. The gent I spoke to gave me all the time in the world, talking me through all the options and without trying to upsell. If you're new to photography or a pro I definitely recommend these guys!
I am an absolutely satisfied customer who will undoubtedly return to this store. My camera and lens were repaired after falling.Everything was done perfectly in a short period of time at an affordable price. I recommend it!
Absolutely fantastic
Every time ive been here the staff have been brilliant
From the time i went in with a broken lens shutter and he repaired it in 1 minute for free to the time i was buying a set up and they gave us so much extra advice and detail
they go above and beyond and are not out to take your money
Trust in what they say and youll do well
Very disappointing experience. I went into this camera shop today to buy a film camera. I don’t have a lot of knowledge about film cameras but I have used them before. When I went to pay, the man who served me was very patronising, he laughed and asked if I was even going to use it. I felt so disheartened and embarrassed, I was excited about buying a new camera. He then explained that this camera takes a different type of film, stating that it’s hard to get it developed. I wouldn’t have minded knowing this information as it was very useful, but the way the man spoke to me was not very nice. They need to learn some manners if they want to attract customers and make sales. I will be going elsewhere when shopping for film cameras now.
amazing little shop! visited here this past weekend just to get a disposable camera since i was visiting manchester from bristol, and the guy there was so knowledgeable. i’ve worked in a camera shop exactly like this before, and real camera gave me the same feeling of familiarity and trust in the knowledge of the people that work there. he knew so much about the film they offered, and even was able to tell me where in manchester to get my film developed. great prices as well! thank you so much, would definitely go back if ever in manchester again :)
Sold my mirrorless camera this afternoon for a very reasonable price. Amazing store with vast amounts of camera models, really impressed. Very professional staff and very easy quick trade. Would definitely visit again when need be.
Great range of photography equipment and the staff here have a wealth of knowledge. They often have film in stock, alongside all sorts of extra bits and pieces that you can conveniently drop in to purchase.
Although, it is overpriced and the items (cameras, for example) are not thoroughly serviced/checked before sale, so you don’t know what specific condition they’re in. I think the main advantage of having a store is convenience and my experience of using your repairs service was not good; it took a long time, the process was pretty unclear and didn’t seem that reliable.
